What does Internal Medicine include? The practice of Internal Medicine requires a specialized internship and residency to learn bronchoscopy, rhinoscopy, endoscopy, ultrasound imaging, advanced bone marrow diagnostics. Using these tools, complicated diagnosis can be made and treatment plans developed to return your pet to their best self.
Dr. Hale studied small animal internal medicine at Michigan State University and then stayed on to participate in a NIH comparative transfusion medicine fellowship. Her special interests include chronic immune-mediated disease, bone marrow disease (including tickborne disease), and critical care medicine involving anemia/thrombocytopenia. Let us help your pet with their illness and develop a long-term care plan.
