Dr. Hale has been a NM transplant for the last ten years and has worked for Veterinary Specialty and Emergency Services of NM as well as Thrive Healthcare of Albuquerque. With 35 years of experience, residency training in small animal internal medicine and advanced training in regenerative medicine (Stem cell therapy, platelet rich plasma usage and cytokine pain management); Dr. Hale is excited to take over the leadership role for Zia Pet Hospital and expand services for our patients. She believes that Zia can offer everything from first visit to last to make your pet comfortable, happy and healthy.
When not in the clinic, Dr. Hale shares her home with her wife Laurie, three “dog children” (Moosh, Quita and Cochiti) as well as two draft horses (Bella and Tartan). She enjoys pleasure carriage driving and rockhounding on the BLM.
