Dr. Veronica Bingamon
Dr. Bingamon was raised in Albuquerque, NM and graduated from Eldorado High School. She graduated from Colorado State University (GO RAMS!) where she received her bachelor’s degree in Biology with a minor in Neuroanatomy/Biomedical Sciences. Dr. Bingamon attended veterinary school at Western University of Health Sciences in Pomona, CA and earned her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine in 2011.
Upon graduating, she was accepted into a AVMA (American Veterinary Medical Association) approved, competitive small animal and surgical rotating internship at Pet Emergency and Specialty Hospital in Thousand Oaks, CA . This is where Dr. Bingamon found her passion for small animal and exotic pet care medicine and returned home to New Mexico to serve families and their pets.
Her special interests include small animal and exotics pet care: Preventative medicine, Dermatology, Surgery, Chronic Kidney Disease, Nutrition/weight management, Geriatric wellness, Hospice care, Osteoarthritis pain management, Husbandry Care, Feather Plucking disorder and is currently training in fish medicine. Dr. Bingamon has special place in her heart for senior/geriatric pets and the human-animal bond.
With her partner Anthony, daughter, son and four-legged babies, Uno (Jack Russell Terrier), Leila (Boxer), Dottie (Chihuahua Mix), Sammy (Shih Tzu mix), enjoy spending time with her friends and family. In her free time, she enjoys listening music, being a dance/soccer mom, practicing hot yoga, and rooting for the San Francisco Giants!
Opening Zia Pet Hospital is Dr. Bingamon’s dream come true and excited to provide family care for your family pets in Rio Rancho. She looks forward to meet and care for your furred, feathered and scaled family!

Cayla joined the ZPH family in 2018. She began her veterinary career in 2013 and has experience in general practice as well as exotic medicine. When not in the clinic, Cayla enjoys spending time in her garden with her chickens and beehives! 3 dogs, 2 cats, 2 tortoises, a Uromastyx and a fiancé round out a family and life she loves!
Hello, I’m Rose from Zia Pueblo. I have 2 girls Kara and Ava with my long-time boyfriend Bruce. We also have 1 dog BBC, 4 cats Big Boy, Kip, Bruce Lee, and Thelma. I enjoy being with my family, love going fishing, hauling firewood and exercising. I also have great passion with working and taking care of all the fur babies.
Client Services Representative/Veterinary Assistant
Kailey started with ZPH as an extern from Animal Behavior College and is now part of the ZPH family, since 2019. Kailey is a mother to two teenagers and has been married for 15 years (and counting!) She has four fur babies, Comet, Ranger, Cooper, and Penny. When not at the clinic you can find Kailey with her family out exploring nature or cuddled up at home with a good book and spending time with her family.
